This particular piece, the third movement of “Go-Go Symphony No. 1” is based on the “new school” go-go beat called the bounce beat, but it starts with the old school pocket beat. The Go-Go Symphony is a group in the Washington DC area that mixes Go-Go Music with original symphonic classical music.
